Testimonials

"Thanks Aaron for letting me evaluate this app. The steps are straightforward just upload your file and get your results. I really liked how easy it was to use, anyone on the team could pick it up without difficulty. The only hiccup I ran into was with XLSX files, but switching to CSV resolved it right away. I also wasn't able to analyze boolean values I tried both TRUE and true and neither worked. One feature I'd love to see: a report highlighting outliers. That would make it much easier to track down and fix data issues."

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you store our data?
A: No. Data is analyzed in-memory and immediately discarded after scoring.

Q: What does Data Quality Score for Jira actually do?

A: It lets you upload a data file CSV, Excel, or JSON directly inside any Jira issue and instantly get a quality score from 0 to 100. The score tells you how clean and reliable your data is so your team knows exactly what needs fixing before it becomes a problem.

Q: Do I need to leave Jira to use it?

A: No. Everything happens inside Jira. Open any issue (story, epic, task), click the Data Quality Score app panel, upload your file, and hit Analyze. You never have to switch tools or open a separate dashboard.

Q: What type of file can I upload?

A: Three formats are supported:

  • CSV

  • Excel (.xlsx)

  • JSON

Files must be under 25 MB. The first row of your CSV or Excel file should be column headers.

Q: Does my data have to be structured?

A: No *But your results will be richer if your columns have an expected format.  A date column should be format of 0/01/2026 or another data format.

Q: How is the quality score calculated?

A: Your data is graded across three data dimensions and combined into one overall score:

  • Completeness - Are all the required fields filled in? Missing values lower this score.

  • Consistency - Are formats uniform across every row? (e.g., dates all in the same format)

  • Validity - Are the values accurate and within expected ranges?

The three scores are combined into a single 0–100 overall score.

Q: What does the threshold slider do?

A: You can set your threshold from 100 to 0.  Once the threshold is exceeded you will get a failure notice.

Q: Are my results saved?

A: No we create an message content of the results of your test.  Each user can edit the results with their notes as needed.  This upholds our commitment to not store anything including the attachment, contents, or name of the data file.

Q: Is this safe with sensitive data?

A:  Yes. Because your data never leaves memory and is never stored or forwarded anywhere, the app is well-suited for teams handling sensitive, confidential, or regulated data. The connection is also secured with OAuth 2.0 and JWT tokens. Always check with your compliance team if your organization has specific data handling requirements.

Q: Does it work across multiple Jira instances?

A:  Yes. The app supports multi-Jira instance configurations, so teams working across more than one Jira Cloud site can use Data Quality Score from each instance.

Q: Can I try before I buy?

A:  Yes. There is a free 30-day trial available directly from the Atlassian Marketplace. Just install the app and try it on your own data with no commitment required.

Q: How is it billed?

A: Billing is handled directly through Atlassian Marketplace. You pay via your existing Atlassian account no separate billing account or credit card needed.

Q: Who do I contact for support?

A: Reach out to the SysWisdom.ai team at info@syswisdom.ai for general support, or sales@syswisdom.ai for pricing and licensing questions. Full documentation is also available at syswisdom.ai/data-quality-score-how-to.
